Unique Selling Points

Manure is rich in nutrients and is a valuable renewable resource. However, from the moment it is produced it starts to lose these nutrients in the form of methane, ammonia and other gases. Not only is this a waste, but it contributes to on-farm greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Gas Abate prevents production of methane by raising the ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) of the slurry. This environment is not conducive to methanogens.

It has been shown in large-scale studies to reduce methane emissions by >80%, hydrogen sulphide by >80% and ammonia emissions by 50%.

By preventing loss of valuable nutrients, the value of manure and slurry is enhanced for onward uses (fertiliser and biogas), while significantly impacting nuisance odours.
